I’m enjoying wearing paler shades of denim at the moment,as I feel it makes outfits more summer-y than a darker denim. I’m also making a lot more use of the clothes that I have rather than running out to constantly buy new clothes. With this look all the pieces have been in my wardrobe a while.
When I first started blogging, I felt that to talk about fashion or to share outfit posts everything had to be brand new. I think this was mainly due to haul posts and videos being extremely popular time. I’ve since realised that this is nonsense and if I love something then I’m going to wear it again and again and style it in different ways. You can see this in my Three ways to wear a pink jumper post.

The jeans are from New Look and are a size 6 with a 30-inch leg which I think is a great fit for me. The jeans are called India, which is a super skinny fit but have a nice amount of stretch in them so that they feel super comfortable. I’ve paired it with a cute patterned blouse from Primark which feels really light which is great in the summer. One of the things that made me buy this blouse was the cute little bar detailing at the neck.
I added a navy blazer to the finish off the look. I have quite a few blazers in my wardrobe but this is definitely one of my favourites. It’s from the Alexa Chung x Marks and Spencer range that was out a few years ago. I find blazers are a great way to smarten up outfits and prefer them in summer to wearing a jacket – living in Scotland you often need a need an extra layer to stay warm! The oversized look of this one though helps to keep the look relatively relaxed and casual.
