I love a good print! And who doesn’t love florals for summer? If you follow me on Instagram then you might have seen this dress cute Miss Selfridge dress already but today, I wanted to share with you why I’m loving it so much and why I think it’s a great buy (especially for shorter people).

It’s the perfect fit
I find this to be the great length on me, it measures 84cm from the shoulders the hem, meaning that it sits just above the knee on me. I often find that wrap style tops can be quite big and loose fitting meaning that I usually have to alter it slightly by putting a couple of stitches in to close it over a little. This dress however sits perfectly on the top! The elastic at the waist also sits at my waist which can often be a struggle for shorter gals. I think the tie sleeve are a really cute addition!
It’s lightweight
The dress is made mostly of viscose which means it feels really light and soft making it perfect for summer. The fabric means that the dress drapes really well, and it also has really nice movement when you’re wearing.
It can work for a variety of outfits
I’m looking forward to styling this in dress in different ways and I know that I’ll work in a few different ways. As it was a gorgeous day when I wore it, I didn’t bother with a jacket but I think it will look perfect paired with my leather look biker jacket or a denim one. I’ve also got my super comfy Lacoste trainers on but the dress will work well with heels and when the weather gets cooler, I’ll be teaming it with tights and my Dr Marten boots.
