You might have noticed my blogs and social channels have changed named over the last day or two and I thought I should explain why.
After blogging under the name She’s Looking at the Stars since 2012 I felt that it was time for a change and a switch to being more focused. When I started, I loved sharing my thoughts on the latest beauty products, rushing out to buy the latest lipstick in multiple colours. Slowly however, I found products that I loved and didn’t want to buy products that were unlikely to suit or work for me simply because they were new and because I had to share a post about them.
From that point on I started to try and incorporate everything I liked into my blog, fashion, travel, lifestyle as well as beauty. What I found from trying to do this though is that I felt like I had to write particular posts and this left me feeling stuck for content. It meant that there was times that I just didn’t enjoy writing or planning content for my blog.
What I love writing about the most though is fashion and personal style which is why I’ve decided to re-name my blog Style by Sam. It means that from now my content is going to focus on fashion (particularly petite fashion), styling tips, trends and more. I’m sure that I’ll come across a beauty product that I just have to write about or share a travel post or a little life update but it’s not going to be my main focus.
